The more..., the more...
从句 主句
1. “the more..., the more...” 越......就越......
the 用在形容词或副词的比较级前，more 代表形容词或副词的比较级
例：
The more he gets, the more he wants.
2. “the more..., the more...”句型，主从句的时态常用一般现在时或一
般将来时。
例：
The higher the ground is, the thinner air becomes.
3. 若主句的谓语动词用一般将来时，从句的谓语动词要用一般现在
时表示将来。
例：
The harder you work, the greater progress you will make.
注意：
比较的部分（标红的）属于强调，写句子时可以先按正常语序写，然
后把比较的部分提前。
例： You work harder, you will make greater progress.
The harder you work, the greater progress you will make.
